Developing Individuals Through Music
Laura's passion as a teacher lies not only in helping students to further their technique and musicianship, but also in helping them grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and ethically through music. Learning an instrument and working as a member of a musical ensemble present a unique set of challenges that help the student cultivate determination, patience, self-awareness, and personal responsibility. Laura enjoys helping her students achieve both their musical and personal goals, regardless of the career path they choose.
